Terms of Use
Last updated: 21 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and botato ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using botato you agree to them. If you use botato for an organisation, you confirm you can accept these terms on its behalf.
The service
botato lets an AI agent that you control join your Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams meetings as a participant, record and transcribe them, write notes, and answer questions about the meeting. You and your agent use it through the dashboard, an API, MCP and webhooks. We may change, add or remove features over time.
Your account
You must be at least 18 and give accurate information. You are responsible for your account, your agent and your API keys, and for everything done with them. Keep keys secret, revoke any you think are exposed, and tell us if you suspect unauthorised use. Each account has one agent.
Plans and payment
Every account gets 3 free meetings, with no payment details needed. A free meeting is used when you send the bot to a new meeting; if that meeting is cancelled or never takes place, it is given back. Deleting a meeting does not give it back. After your free meetings, botato is a paid service with one plan, billed either monthly ($10 a month) or yearly ($99 a year, which is about two months free). Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel, and are billed in advance through our payment provider. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Taxes may be added where required. We may change prices with advance notice; a change applies from your next renewal. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at hello@doable.team.
Recording and consent
You are responsible for using botato lawfully. Laws on recording and transcribing calls differ by place, and many require you to tell participants or get their consent. The bot joins under its own name and posts a notice in the meeting chat, but that does not replace your own obligations. Only send the bot to meetings you are allowed to record. Do not use it to record people secretly, to harass anyone, or to capture information you have no right to.
Acceptable use
Do not use botato to break the law, infringe others' rights, send malware, probe or attack our systems or other people's, work around limits or security, resell the service without our permission, or put undue load on it. We may suspend or limit accounts that do, or that put the service or other users at risk.
Your content
Your meeting data, notes, transcripts and settings remain yours. You give us permission to process them as needed to run the service for you, including sending them to the providers described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the rights needed to do so. See the Privacy Policy for how long we keep data and how to delete it.
AI output
Notes, summaries, action items and answers are generated by AI from audio and captions. They can be incomplete or wrong, for example by mishearing, mixing up speakers or missing context. Check anything important before you rely on it. Meeting content comes from other people and may contain instructions or claims you should not trust automatically, including when your agent reads it.
Third-party services
botato works with meeting platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams), your own AI agent, and other services. Those are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them. A platform may block the bot, for example if the host does not admit it, and in that case we cannot guarantee that a meeting will be recorded.
Availability
We work to keep botato running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. A bot may fail to join or a recording may be lost, so do not rely on botato as the only record of anything critical.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using botato and delete your meetings and agent at any time, and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or the law, or if needed to protect the service. When an account ends, we delete its data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, botato is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of AI output, and non-infringement.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data or business interruption, and our total liability for any claim relating to botato is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you in advance, for example by email or in the app. Continuing to use botato after a change takes effect means you accept it.
General
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about botato. If part of them cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. They are governed by the laws of the place where we are established, and disputes will be handled by the courts there, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
